The Story of Space festival
Between the 10th and 19th of November 2017, Panjim City in Goa, India, turned into a learning playground with live experiences, immersive installations, workshops, talks, films, and panels on questions around space from multiple perspectives. The Story of Foundation gathered researchers, artists, and educators from around the globe to tell stories about the physics, philosophy, politics, and perception of space
In 2016, I signed up as a photographer to work on the Story of Space Festival. It was an opportunity to grow in my photography skills. The festival is all about 'informal learning'. It was also a unique opportunity to interact with the youth of urban India. Together with three other photographers, I was tasked with capturing the festival through a camera.
I chose to to work on one specific project:
The Story of ... the visitors: Who are the visitors? Why are they visiting the festival? Have they learned new things?
